چکیده
Gastric cancer (GC) is a disease with high incidence in the mountainous populations of Andes Nariño-Colombia (150/100,000) without changing last 20 years. The most important risk factor for development Helicobacter pylori infection, which affects more than 80% Colombian population. In Department Nariño-Colombia, eradication only strategy prevention gastric cancer. However, failure therapeutic approaches against due to resistance antibiotics motivates search novel alternatives that can be used as adjuvants conventional treatments, being extracts content sulforaphane from broccoli sprouts, polyphenols avocado and Cannabis sativa L. CBD-rich, potential alternatives. Our working hypothesis postulates plant (Brassica oleracea var. Italica) sprouts rich sulforaphane, polyphenolic (Persea americana Hass) richs CBD have inhibitory action on growth vitro isolated patients areas Nariño-Colombia. 133 non-atrophic atrophic gastritis were included. lesions classified according Sydney system. was biopsies determine antibacterial activity broccoli, by agar dilution method. grown Mueller Hinton supplemented sheep blood dilutions follows: 90 - 125 μg/mL, 375 3000 25 – 60 triplicate. From 3 7 days after incubation, colony-forming units (CFU) counted establish minimum concentration (MIC) each assay statistical analyzes performed SPSS. Minimum Inhibitory Concentration established 120 μg/mL; 1500 ppm 55 allowed us number colonies decreased proportionally increase evaluated. Extracts present best effect Nariño Colombia MIC followed (120 μg/mL) (1500
